BIO

Jinnah is a native of San Diego California, with a full & rewarding life filled with music.  She grew up in a musical family with an older brother, Darius who introduced her to the guitar.  Darius taught her how to play chords to classic rock music, the Beatles, Eagles, Led Zeppelin, Neil Young.  She would play rhythm & add vocal harmonies while he played & sang lead. Her father was from the Big Band era playing bass, saxophone & clarinet, sing lead vocals in bands throughout Southern California. Young brother Jamie picked up the electric guitar in jr. high starting a band in their garage.  Jamie continues to play guitar with quite a collection of very nice guitars.
Shortly after high school Jinnah got into the local “ music biz”. Growing up around music with very supportive mom & dad helped with her motivation to pursue a career in music. Jinnah’s eclectic taste in music includes a wide range of artists which she is able to interpret into her own unique style. You could call it rock, folk, Americana, country with a contemporary sound. She enjoys and quite often plays with other local musicians, recently Suzanne Shea, Jerry Gontang, Michael Dwyer & Bob Wade.
Jinnah has played in cocktail lounges, restaurants, wine bars, breweries, public & private events and continues to entertain steadily in San Diego, currently for the past 3 years at The Red Door in Mission Hills.  Some of our favorite venues include DiMille’s Italian Restaurant, Hacienda Casa Blanca, Hooleys Public House, Costa Azul in Coronado, Downtown Cafe Bar & Grill. Her loyal following continues to grow & support her through the years.

Thanks for stopping by & Hope to see you soon!
